Shawn & Becky - St- James Theatre Wedding

I’m going to begin this blog by stating I met Shawn- the groom- on the dancefloor back in 2014. Ok not really but kind of. In actuality, I photographed his sisters wedding then and little did I know that he’d remember me!

In his words - “All I remember was how much fun you were photographing us all- while we were dancing- and you were right there with us having fun while working!” Well truth be told- the one big statement that I carry on the beginning page of my website- is that yes, one of my goals is to dance WITH you at your wedding. And that we did back on July 4th.

Shawn and Becky have crazy amounts of energy which cannot be denied while looking at their photos. The laughter and goofiness carried us through their big day and if I could do it all over again, I would just to hang out with these two.

This was one of the most electric, wild, hilarious and beautiful weddings I’ve shot in a long time. For example, when Shawn got up on a table during the hora… which was being held by his friends…and when he and Becky got on the stage with the band- while their friends cheered them on as though they were seeing their favorite superstar walk on stage! Like I said- the day was electric! I have SO Many favorite images from the day, it was hard to pair it down but here it goes!
